london photo diary: part 1
In March I visited London for the first time, and I can easily say that I fell in love with the city. It's clean, busy, vibrant, and beautiful! It's such a mix of old and new; the buildings, the fashion, the food, everything is a total cultural and historical mix.
I partnered with the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch for this trip - I'd heard really great things about Shoreditch, and who doesn't love the Ace? They're usually placed in the coolest parts of town so I had a feeling I wouldn't be disappointed. The hotel was a minimal paradise, but had the best touches (like an awesome record player in the room)! The staff was also super helpful with suggesting local bars to go out to or places to eat at around the area. Basically, would recommend.
I wanted to get a mix in of your typical "tourist" spots but also live a little like a local in my 4-day trip. During the days we had a great time visiting sights like the Tower of London, the Crown Jewels, and Parliament. But we also really experienced the city - one night was a show at a local club with the amazing Robyn DJing live, another day was a wine tasting at a market outside of London, another we had the best Indian food in the city. It was a blur of a trip, but one that I won't soon forget!
I took about a million photos during the trip, but here I wanted to gather a few of my favorites. Posting these makes me want to go back already, and hopefully will inspire you to visit London too!
